Councillors of the AAP and the BJP have filed police complaints against each other for allegedly disrupting House proceedings and creating a ruckus during a meeting of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Following the ruckus yesterday, South Delhi Mayor Kamaljeet Sehrawat suspended 11 Aam Aadmi Party councillors.
AAP councillor Kishanwati filed a complaint at Kamla Market police station, while BJP councillors filed two complaints with Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Delhi.
The police has submitted Kishanwati's complaint to Sehrawat for her consideration, along with her medico legal case (MLC) report. "The X-ray report and the MLC did not cite any fracture in her hand," a police source said.
A senior police officer said the matter will be probed by the mayor, following which the police would take action.
The police has sought the CCTV camera footage of the incident, when councillors from both sides allegedly pushed and shoved each other. AAP councillors were alleged to have torn papers in the House during the ruckus.

Mayor Sehrawat alleged the AAP councillors, including nominated MLAs and the eldermen, were admant on interrupting the House proceedings without any valid reason.
"In a meeting with leaders of both AAP and Congress, I had sought there cooperation. I even avoided their slogan shouting but it became imperative to take action when they misbehaved with women staff and tore papers," Sehrawat said.
The leader of House in the BJP-ruled SDMC, Shikha Rai, said the allegations of attack and use of casteist remarks by the AAP were "absurd" and "miles away from the truth".
"The whole episode was recorded by CCTV cameras, which show how they deliberately created ruckus. It's a stunt by them to remain in headlines," Rai said.
Rai also demanded debarring a councillor, who creates ruckus during House meetings, from its next two sittings.
She said she has proposed for having women marshals during House meetings to prevent any ruckus by women councillors.
Rai also said the BJP has sought time to meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to complain against the behaviour of his party's MLAs nominated to the SDMC.
The BJP leaders in the House will also meet Lt. Gov. Anil Baijal in connection with the incident, she added.
