"SDMC will launch the special sanitation drive tomorrow... The deputy commissioners of all four zones will inaugurate the drive to ensure better sanitary conditions in their areas," said a statement here.
As part of the campaign, various departments, like education, engineering, environment management services, horticulture, etc. Will coordinate with each other and organise programmes, it said.
The main focus will be on the cleaning of 'dhalaos' or garbage dumps, roads, parks and lanes.
Emphasis would also be on the cleaning and maintenance of public toilets, removal of debris, pruning of trees and the maintenance of street lights, etc., it added.
The 'Mosquito Terminator' will be launched from the New Delhi railway station in the morning.
