Party General Secretary Tariq Anwar said the NCP has sought two of the 40 Lok Sabha seats in the proposed alliance.
"Nothing has been finalised so far. It seems that the seat-sharing pact will get finalised after the ongoing Parliament session," Anwar told reporters here.
"We have demanded two seats this time and I think RJD will settle for 20-22 seats. I am confident that our alliance will perform better this time," he said on the sidelines of an Assocham event on the commodity markets.
"RJD-LJP and Congress will fight the next Lok Sabha polls together in Bihar. Now the talks among the three parties are only about the number of seats each of us will contest," he had told PTI.
