Anand Kuril (20) was found hanging from the ceiling in his room this morning by his parents, they said.
Kuril, who was studying in a Mandhana-based private college, had failed in the third semester and was also depressed over the poor economic situation at home.
Investigation in the case have started while the body has been sent for post-mortem, a police official said.
