BBMB has decided to install high-grade steel short vertical posts called Bollards at the dam besides Under Vehicle Surveillance System (UVSS) and CCTV cameras.
"We have decided to install Bollards at Bhakra dam to check forceful entry of any heavy vehicles. We have already issued tenders in this regard and it is expected that they will be installed at the entry points within next 3-4 months," BBMB's Director (Security) Gursharan Singh Wason said here.
