Security measures at Sri City SEZ reviewed

Security measures at Sri City Special Economic Zone, home to several manufacturing units, located about 90 km from here, has been reviewed by a top police official.
Inspector-General of Police, Rayalaseema range, N Sridhar Rao visited Sri City yesterday and was briefed on the infrastructure facilities and industrial progress by Sri City Managing Director Ravindra Sannareddy, a press release said.
"The intent of the visit (by the police official) was to review the security system, law and order. He assured to strengthen the police vigilance further towards ensuring peaceful atmosphere", the release said.
Later, Rao also had a first hand look of the production units of Rising Star and Hunter Douglas among other companies located in Sri City.
Chittoor, Superintendent of Police G Srinivas and DSP, I Nagabhushana Rao were among those present on the occasion, the release added.
