The meeting, attended by DG CRPF Dilip Trivedi, IG Vivek Sahay, IG (Western Range) S N Gupta, IG (Headquarters) Zulfikar Hassan, talked on the strategy to be followed for insurgent-combat in the present situation while maintaining the balance of the force in every region, including Chhattisgarh, top police sources said.
The meeting was held at the 50 battalion headquarter of CRPF at Lalgarh.
Two constables of the force, Sukomal Das, who had imparted literacy campaigns for 84 people in the backward maoist-infested region, and Sumanta Das, who had played a vital role in recovering 70 rifles from Enayetpur, were felicitated on the occasion for their roles.
