Anticipating legal hurdles,
Pakistan's tainted left-arm pacer Mohammad Aamir has started consultations with his lawyers in an attempt to make a comeback to the national team next month.
Aamir, who performed brilliantly in the ongoing domestic season and the Bangladesh Premier League to earn the attention of national selectors, skipped the first round of the Quaid-e -Azam super eight stage this week.
"He is busy consulting his lawyers and wanted some time off to discuss with them the legal hitches that he might face if selected to play for Pakistan again," a source close to Aamir said.
"He wants to ensure that whenever the national selectors decide to give him a chance there are no problems when applying for visas to countries like India, England and Australia where visa rules are stringent for Pakistani nationals," the source said.
"Aamir is being considered to be recalled for the tour to New Zealand," one selector said.
