Some of the Congress MPs and MLAs from Seemandhra today took serious exception to the party leadership allegedly not inviting them to attend the AICC meeting in Delhi tomorrow.
"Any resolution can be moved (by AICC members). We sent a resolution to AICC 15 days ago seeking that this state be kept united. Since they have gone to the press saying we will not give passes, we will go to AICC meeting tomorrow and sit there. I feel we need to express our protest till we are given pass," Congress MP Sabbam Hari told reporters.
Congress MPs from Seemandhra -- V Arun Kumar, Sabbam Hari, L Rajagopal, Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, A Saipratap and G V Harsha Kumar -- have been denied passes for the AICC meet, according to an MP.
Seemandhra Congress MPs had moved a no-confidence motion against the UPA government earlier.
Congress MP L Rajagopal said the denial of entry passes is undemocratic.
"We did not expect a national party, which is supposed to follow democratic principles, to do like this. I have a right to go to the meeting. I feel my right should not be taken away. I have done no wrong. I gave a resolution in favour of united Andhra. We will try to attend the AICC session," he said.

Rajagopal, MP from Vijayawada, had even sought permission of the central leadership to move a resolution against the division of the state at the party conclave.
Senior Congress MLA J C Diwakar Reddy said they have not received invitation to attend the meet.
He alleged that it would be discrimination if the Telangana Congress leaders have indeed received invitation as reported.
