Industrial metals trading choppy at LME following cautiousness as traders closed positions ahead of key China trade data.

Nickel and tin dropped by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,090 and Rs 1,295 from Monday's closing level of Rs 1,095 and Rs 1,295.

Copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap and copper sheet cutting all softened by a rupee per kg each to Rs 475, Rs 442 and Rs 463, respectively.

However, lead and brass sheet cutting both gained by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 122 and Rs 328 from Rs 120 and Rs 326.

Copper armature and brass utensils scrap edged up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 469 and Rs 318.
