Select base metals down on muted demand

Select base metals fell by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today due to tepid demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market.
Traders attributed the fall in select base prices to subdued demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel plate (4x4) were down by Rs 2 each to Rs 378 and Rs 845-850 per kg respectively. Lead ingot and lead imported also eased by a similar margin to Rs 93 and Rs 99 per kg respectively.
Following are today's metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 109-115, Nickel plate (4x4) Rs 845-850, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 378, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 93, lead imported Rs 99, aluminium ingots Rs 156, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 152, aluminium wire scrap Rs 152 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 150.
