Select base metals gains on renewed demand, global cues

Industrial metals rallied at the LME on expectation of further monetary easing by Central banks of major economies.

Nickel rose by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,095 from Monday's closing level of Rs 1,090.

Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armature, copper wire bar, copper sheet cutting, brass utensils scrap and zinc all inched up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 486, Rs 478, Rs 470, Rs 514, Rs 465, Rs 318 and Rs 134, respectively.
