Traders said sentiments turned better after aluminium rebounded from the lowest level in almost a year and most industrial metals rose in global markets before data forecast to show sustained economic growth in the US, the world's second-largest user of base metals.
Meanwhile, aluminium for delivery in three months rose 0.7 per cent to USD 1,756.50 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, aluminium ingots, sheet cutting, wire scrap and utensils scrap were up by Rs 2 each to Rs 164, Rs 165, Rs 167 and Rs 164 per kg, respectively.
