Select centres' freight rate slips

Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for Ahmedabad, Indore and Baroda dropped by Rs 1,000 at the local truck transport market in the national capital today following restricted cargo movements.
Transporters said apart from restricted cargo movements, comfortable position of trucks in the market mainly led to fall in freight rates for select destinations.
Delhi to Ahmedabad and Baroda freight rates declined by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 23,500 and Rs 25,500.
Also, freight rates to Indore from Delhi fell by Rs 1,000 to Rs 24,000.
