Select commodity prices move up, rest no change

The prices of moong dal, sugar and maida moved up, while other commodities ruled steady during the week in the wholesale foodgrains market here.
Moong dal opened the week at Rs 9,700, an increase of Rs 100 per quintal from its closing rate of Rs 9,600 to end at its opening rate.
Likewise, on Monday, Sugar opened at Rs 3,050 with a gain of Rs 50 per quintal from its last week's closing rate of Rs 3,000 and maintained the same rate.
In addition, Maida (90 kg) opened the week at Rs 2,450, an increase of Rs 50 to end at its opening rate.
Thoor dal (Rs 7,000), urad dal (Rs 7,200), gram dal (Rs 3,900) and sooji (90 kg)(Rs 2,600) ruled steady throughout the week.
