Select copper recovers on renewed demand

Select copper recovered in an otherwise lacklustre non-ferrous metal market today on stockists' buying amid renewed demand from industrial users.
Tin dropped on subdued offtake from alloy industries.
Copper utensils scrap and copper sheet cutting edged up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 366 and Rs 384 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 364 and 382, respectively.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armature and copper wire bar all inched up by a Re per kg to Rs 399, Rs 394, Rs 388 and Rs 427, respectively.
However, tin slid by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,465 from overnight close of Rs 1,475.
