Select copra and black pepper slip on subdued demand
Press Trust of India Mumbai Black pepper rd, copra office Alappuzha and copra office Kozhikode slipped at the spices market here today following subdued demand from stockists and retailers amid lower export offtake.
While rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
Black pepper rd eased by Rs 10/10 per kg to Rs 450/550 from last Saturday's close at Rs 460/560.
Copra office Alappuzha and copra office Kozhikode declined by Rs 200 per quintal each to Rs 14,300 and Rs 14,200 from last weekend's level of Rs 14,500 and Rs 14,400, respectively.
