Select copra and ginger gains on sustained demand

Ginger prices also firmed up due to higher retail offtake.

Meanwhile, copra Rajapur Mumbai fell further due to subdued demand from bulk consumers.

Copra office Kozhikode climbed by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,200 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 4,150.

Copra office Alapuzha and Copra edible Mumbai moved up by Rs 25 per quintal each to Rs 4,300 and Rs 5,400 from Rs 4,275 and 5,375, respectively.

Ginger bleached and unbleached went up by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 140 and Rs 155 against Rs 135 and Rs 150, respectively.

However, Copra Rajapur Mumbai dropped by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,600 as compared to Rs 6,700 yesterday.
