Select copra and ginger spurt on heavy demand

Copra Rajapur and ginger prices spurted at the spices market here today on heavy demand from stockist and retailers amidst higher export offtake.
Meanwhile, Copra office Alapuzha, Copra Kozhikode and copra edible prices declined due to lower demand from millers and bulk consumers.
Black pepper prices held steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Ginger bleach and ginger unbleached both climbed by Rs 20 per kg each to Rs 180 and Rs 190 from Rs 160 and Rs 170, respectively.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai shot-up by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 6,100 from 6,000 previously.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode moved down by Rs 25 per quintal each to Rs 4,450 and 4,350 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 4,475 and 4,375 respectively.
