Select copra declines on weak demand, supply pressure

Copra Rajapur and copra Alapuzha prices declined in an otherwise steady spices market here today due to reduced demand from retail consumers amid adequate stock availability.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai shed Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 9,500 from overnight closing level of Rs 9,600 and copra office Alapuzha moved down by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 8,100 as compared to Rs 8,150 previously.

Black pepper (per kg) 531/581 (531/581), ginger bleached (per kg) 205 (205), ginger unbleached (per kg) 215 (215), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 8,100 (8,150), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 8,050 (8,050), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 9,500 (9,600), Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 8,800 (8,800).
