Select copra drops on subdued demand, ample supply

Copra Rajapur and copra edible prices fell sharply at the spices market here today due to reduced offtake by stockists and bulk consumers amid poor buying from millers.
Rest all spices closed at their overnight levels in the absence of any whorthwhile demand.
Copra Rajapur Mumbai shed Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 18,000 from Monday's closing level of Rs 18,500 and copra edible Mumbai declined by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 13,600 as against Rs 13,700.

Black pepper (per kg) 765/810 (765/810), ginger bleached (per kg) 340 (340), ginger unbleached (per kg) 360 (360), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 11,000 (11,000), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 10,500 (10,500), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 18,000 (18,500), Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 13,600 (13,700).
