Select copra falls on reduced demand

Copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode prices fell at the spices market here today on reduced demand from millers and bulk consumers.
While, copra Rajapur recovered due renewed demand from stockist and retailers amidst higher export offtake.
Rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Copra office Kozhikode declined by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 8,000 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 8,100.
Copra office Alapuzha moved down by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 8,100 as against Rs 8,150 previously.
However, copra Rajapur climbed by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 9,500 as compared to Rs 9,400 previously.

Black pepper (per kg) 531/581 (531/581), ginger bleached (per kg) 205 (205), ginger unbleached (per kg) 215 (215), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 8,100 (8,150), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 8,000 (8,100), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 9,500 (9,400), Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 8,800 (8,800).
