Select copra moves up on rising demand

Copra Office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode prices moved up at the spices market here today on rising demand from stockist and millers amidst better retail offtake.
Meanwhile, copra edible prices declined on subdued demand from stockist and retailers.
Rest of the spices maintained a stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile trading.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode prices eased by Rs 25 per quintal each to Rs 4,800 and Rs 4,725 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 4,775 and Rs 4,700, respectively.
However, copra edible Mumbai fell by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 5,700 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 5,750.

Black pepper (per kg) 418/448 (418/448), ginger bleached (per kg) 180 (180), ginger unbleached (per kg) 190 (190), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 4,725 (4,700), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 4,725 (4,700), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 6,400 (6,400) Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 5,700 (5,750).
