Select copra prices decline on subdued demand, pepper eases

Copra edible, copra office Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode prices declined due to subdued demand from stockist and retailers amidst ample supply position.
Black pepper prices eased on lower demand from retailers.
Copra edible Mumbai fell by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 5,500 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 5,600.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode dipped by Rs 50 per quintal each to Rs 4,400 and Rs 4,300 from Rs 4,450 and Rs 4,350.
Black pepper went down by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 365/415 as against Rs 370/415 previously.

Black pepper (per kg) 365/415 (370/415), ginger bleached (per kg) 180 (180), ginger unbleached (per kg) 190 (190), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 4,400 (4,450), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 4,300 (4,350), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 6,000 (6,000) Copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 5,500 (5,600).
