Select copra prices rebound on renewed demand

Copra office Alappuzha, copra office Kozhikode and copra edible Mumbai prices rebounded smartly at the spices market here today due to renewed demand from stockists and retailers.
Meanwhile, black pepper, ginger and copra Rajapur held steady in the absence of any large scale buying.
Copra office Alappuzha climbed by Rs 150 per quintal to Rs 5,400 from Monday's closing level of Rs 5,250.
Copra office Kozhikode and copra edible Mumbai prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 5,300 and Rs 7,000 as against Rs 5,200 and Rs 6,900, respectively.
