Select copra rules stable in lacklustre trade

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode prices ended stable in an otherwise lacklustre spices market here today in the absence of any large scale buying.
However, black pepper, ginger, copra Rajapur and copra edible Mumbai market remained closed today on account of 'Ashadhi Ekadashi'.
Following are today's closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):
Black pepper (per kg) closed (660/740),ginger bleached (per kg) closed (250), ginger unbleached (per kg) closed (270), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 8,100 (8,100), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 8,000 (8,000), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) closed (17,000), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) closed (9,800).
