Select copra strengthens on persistent demand

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode gained further at the spices market here today on persistent demand from stockists and exporters amidst limited supplies.
While, copra Rajapur slipped due to selling by stockists amidst subdued retail demand.
Rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any major buying activity.
Copra office Alapuza and copra office Kozhikode moved up by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 11,900 and Rs 11,800 from Monday's closing level of Rs 11,800 and 11,700, respectively.
However, copra Rajapur prices dropped by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 23,000 as against Rs 23,500 yesterday.
