Select copra surges on persistent demand

Copra office Alapuzha, copra Kozhikode and Copra edible prices surged at the spices market here today on persistent demand from stockist and millers amid better retail offtake.
While, rest of the other spices ruled stable in the absence of any major buying.
Copra edible Mumbai shot-up by Rs 75 per quintal to Rs 5,800 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 5,725.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode gained by Rs 50 per quintal each to Rs 4,700 and Rs 4,600 as against Rs 4,650 and Rs 4,550, respectively.
