Select copra weakens on lower demand, ample supplies

Copra edible Mumbai, copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode prices weakened further at the spice market here today due to poor demand from millers and exporters on the back of ample supply positions.
While, rest all other spices held steady in the absence of any largescale buying.
Copra edible Mumbai fell by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 10,000 from Wednesday's closing level Rs 10,200.
Copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode fell by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 8,200 from Rs 8,000 from overnight level of Rs 8,300 and Rs 8,100, respectively.
