Select copra weakens on subdued demand

Copra office Alapuzha and copra office kozhikode weakened further at the spices market here today due to subdued demand from stockists and retailers amid poor export offtake.
Elsewhere, copra rajapur mumbai also slipped owing to lower demand from stockists and retailers.
Meanwhile, rest of the spices ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile large-scale buying activity.
Copra office Alapuzha slide by Rs 100 per quintal each to Rs 6,500 and Rs 6,400 from Tuesday's close Rs 6,600 and Rs 6,500 respectively.
Copra rajapur mumbai also fell by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 10,000 as against Rs 10,500 yesterday.
