Linseed oil, in the non-edible section, also declined on reduced offtake by paint industries.
Traders said sluggish demand from retailers amid weak global trend mainly led to decline in select edible oil prices.
Meanwhile, palm oil declined 1.4 per cent to USD 795 metric tonne on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange.
In the national capital, sesame mill delivery oil fell further by Rs 100 to Rs 10,200 per quintal.
Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) also moved down by Rs 100 and Rs 50 to Rs 7,400 and Rs 7,200 per quintal respectively on weak global cues.
