Select edible oils down on muted demand, weak overseas cues

Groundnut and a few other edible oils showed weakness at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to muted demand mills and retailers coupled with a weak trend overseas.
However, non-edible oils continued to move in a limited range on little doing and settled at their previous levels.
Traders said apart from weak demand from retailers and millers, a weak trend in select oils, dampened sentiments here.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) fell by Rs 20 to Rs 9,380 per quintal, while groudnut solvent refined shed Rs 10 at Rs 1,690-1,790 per tin.
Crude Palm Oil (ex-kandla) too shed Rs 20 to Rs 4,230 per quintal on weak outside advices. Palmolein (RBD) and Palmolein (Kandla) also shed Rs 10 each at Rs 5,640 and Rs 5,590 per quintal, respectively.
