Marketmen said stockists selling in line with a weakening global trend mainly kept pressure on select edible oil prices.
Meanwhile, palm oil for March delivery lost 1.2 per cent to USD 768 a metric tonne, the lowest since November 12 on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange.
In the national capital, soyabean refined milll delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils remained weak and shed another Rs 50 each to Rs 7,100 and Rs 6,800, while crude palm oil (ex-kandla) lost Rs 100 at Rs 5,300 per quintal, respectively.
