However, other non-edible oils remained flat in thin trade.
Marketmen said slackened demand against adequate supplies from producing regions mainly led to decline in select edible oil prices.
In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujartat) and mustard expeller (Dadri) oils fell by Rs 50 and Rs 100 to Rs 8,100 and Rs 7,400 per quintal, respectively.
Sesame mill delivery and cottonseed mill delivery (Haryana) oils also traded lower by Rs 100 and Rs 50 to Rs 11,500 and Rs 6,400 per quintal, respectively.
