However, other edible and non-edible oils after moving in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said some local buying mainly helped select edible oil prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, cottonseed mill delivery (Haryana) and crude palm oil (ex-kandla) oils rose by Rs 50 and Rs 100 to Rs 6,300 and Rs 5,400 per quintal, respectively.
The following are today's quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
