Select edible oils up on scattered buying

Select edible oil prices rose up to Rs 100 per quintal on the oils and oilseeds market today scattered buying by retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils after moving in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said some local buying mainly helped select edible oil prices to trade higher.
In the national capital, cottonseed mill delivery (Haryana) and crude palm oil (ex-kandla) oils rose by Rs 50 and Rs 100 to Rs 6,300 and Rs 5,400 per quintal, respectively.
The following are today's quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.

Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,160-1,290.

Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,700, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,950-2,000, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,450, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 11,500, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,400, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,150, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,400, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,300, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,500, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,150, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin) 1,650-1,700.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,450, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,400-9,500, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,170-3,270 and Palm Fatty 3,225-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
