Select freight rates ease on Friday
Easy availability of trucks in the markets against restricted cargo movements, mainly pulled down some of centres freight rates
Press Trust of India New Delhi Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for select destinations turned weak by Rs 1,000 at the local truck transport market in the national capital on Friday following heavy availability of trucks amid insignificant cargo movements.
Transporters said easy availability of trucks in the markets against restricted cargo movements, mainly pulled down some of centres freight rates.
Delhi to Patna, Mumbai and Surat rates were moved down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 27,000, Rs 31,000 and Rs 28,000.
Rates to Mysore, Gwalior and Coimbatore also went down by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 70,000, Rs 16,000 and Rs 76,000.
