Traders said besides increased supplies from producing belts, reduced offtake by stockists mainly pulled down rice basmati and other bold grain prices.
In the national capital, rice basmati common and Pusa-1121 variety eased to Rs 8,200-8,700 and Rs 6,800-8,600 against last levels of Rs 8,700-9,200 and Rs 7,000-9,000 per quintal, respectively.
Bajra, maize and barley too slipped to Rs 1,200-1,205, Rs 1,200-1,205 and Rs 1,620-1,625 against last close of Rs 1,230-1,235, Rs 1,205-1,210 and Rs 1,640-1,650 per quintal, respectively.
Wheat MP (deshi) 2,245-2,445, Wheat dara (for mills) 1,610-1,615, Chakki atta (delivery) 1,615-1,620, Atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 220, Shakti bhog (10 kg) 220, Roller flour mill 850- 875 (50 kg), Maida 915-925 (50 kg) and Sooji 1,030-1,050 (50 kg).
