Traders said fall in demand from retailers at existing levels against sufficient stocks position mainly led to the decline in select pulses' prices.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 8,400-8,900 and Rs 9,300-9,500 per quintal respectively. Urad best quality and dhoya followed suit and eased by a similar margin to Rs 9,500-10,100 and Rs 9900-10,200 per quintal respectively.
Arhar and its dal dara variety weakened by Rs 50 each to Rs 7400-7550 and Rs 8850-9050 per quintal respectively.
