Traders said besides easing demand from retailers at prevailing levels, ample stocks on increased supplies from producing regions mainly kept arhar and other pulses lower.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 8,900 and Rs 11,700-13,400 per quintal, respectively.
Urad and its dal chilka local moved down by Rs 100 each to Rs 10,400-11,900 and Rs 10,700-10,800 per quintal, respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya followed suit and traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 10,800-11,300 and Rs 11,200-11,500 per quintal.
