Traders said pick up in supplies helped by the government's measures to check rising prices mainly put a brake on rising urad and other pulses prices.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local fell by Rs 300 each to Rs 10,500-12,000 and Rs 10,800-10,900 per quintal respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya followed suit and traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 10,900-11,400 and Rs 11,300-11,600 per quintal.
Moong and its dal chilka local also eased by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,100-6,700 and Rs 6,650-7,050 per quintal respectively. Its dal dhoya local and best quality enquired lower by the same margin to Rs 7,050-7,550 and Rs 7,550-7,750 per quintal.
Masoor small and bold shed Rs 50 each at Rs 6,000-6,300 and Rs 6,050-6,350 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality weakened by a similar margin to Rs 6,550-7,050 and Rs 6,650-7,150 per quintal.
