Traders said besides rising demand, restricted supplies from producing regions mainly led to rise in select pulses prices.
In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local rose by Rs 300 each to Rs 8,100-9,000 and Rs 9,200-9,400 per quintal respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 9,300-9,900 and Rs 9,700-10,000 per quintal respectively.
ARhar climbed to Rs 9550-9,700 from previous level of Rs 9,400-9,600 per quintal. Its dal dara variety edged up by Rs 200 to Rs 11,100-11,200 per quintal.
