Marketmen said further improvement in supplies in the market after the measures taken by government, mainly kept pressure on select pulses prices.
Meanwhile, for smooth procurement of pulses, the government has released Rs 90 crore to three state-run firms -- Nafed, SFAC and FCI -- for the kharif season in the current marketing year.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety dropped by Rs 100 each to Rs 11,200 and Rs 11,900- 14,900 per quintal, respectively.
Moong and its dal chilka moved down by Rs 50 each to Rs 7,050-7,650 and Rs 7,650-8,050 per quintal. Its dal dhoya local and best quality traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 8,000-8,500 and Rs 8,500-8,700 per quintal.
