Traders said restricted supplies from producing regions also led to rise in moong and other pulses prices.
In the national capital, moong edged up to Rs 4,500- 5,200 from previous lavel of Rs 4,300-4,900 per quintal. Its dal chilka local, dhoya local and best quality were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,200-5,400, Rs 5,800-6,300 and Rs 6,300-6,500 per quintal, respectively.
Gram, gramdal local and best quality were also moved up by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,300-6,200, Rs 6,000-6,400 and Rs 6,400 -6,500 per quintal, respectively.
Besan Shaktibhog and Rajdhani too quoted higher at Rs 2,500 each instead of Rs 2,480 per 35 kg bag.
