Marketmen said besides increased demand from stockists and retailers, restricted arrivals from producing regions mainly led to the rise in select pulses.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,200-4,350 and Rs 5,500-6,800 per quintal, respectively.
Malka local and best quality were also seen in demand and traded higher by the same margin to Rs 5,700-6,000 and Rs 5,900-6,000 per quintal, respectively.

Moong dal dhoya local and best quality traded lower at Rs 6,650-6,950 and Rs 7,450-7,550 per quintal, respectively.
