Marketmen said low demand from retailers against adequate stocks position mainly led to the fall in the prices of pulses.
In the national capital, kabli gram small variety eased to Rs 3,800-6,200 against last close of Rs 3,800-6,400 per quintal. Arhar and its dal dara variety also weakened to Rs 4,200-4,300 and Rs 5,400-5,700 from previous levels of Rs 4,200-4,350 and Rs 5,500-5,800 per quintal, respectively.
Moong slipped to Rs 5,500-6,700 from last close of Rs 5,500-6,800, while its dal chilka local, dhoya local and best quality were down by Rs 50 each to Rs 6,700-7,200, Rs 6,600-6,900 and Rs 7,400-7,500 per quintal, respectively.
