Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers at prevailing levels against adequate stocks mainly led to the fall in select pulses prices.
In the national capital, Moong and its dal chilka local declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 7,250-7,850 and Rs 7,850-8,250 per quintal. Its dal dhoya local and best quality followed suit and enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 8,250-8,750 and Rs 8,750-8,950 per quintal.
Masoor small and bold were down by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,750-5,000 and Rs 4,800-5,050, while its dal local and best quality enquired lower by the same margin to Rs 5,500-6,000 and Rs 5,600-6,100 per quintal.
