Traders said falling demand from retailers at existing higher levels and adequate stocks position mainly led to the weakness in select pulses.
In the national capital, moth and rajmah chitra dropped to Rs 4,400-4,700 and Rs 4,000-7,400 from last close of Rs 4,500-4,800 and Rs 4,200-7,400 per quintal respectively.
Kabligram small variety weakened to Rs 3,400-6,200 from previous level of Rs 3,500-6,300 per quintal.
Moong and its dal chilka local fell Rs 100 each to Rs 5,700-6,500 and Rs 6,400-6,900 per quintal respectively. Moong dal dhoya local and best quality were also eased by a similar margin to Rs 6,400-6,700 and Rs 7,200-7,300 per quintal respectively.
