"We will not allow police to arrest Sant Rampal ji as he is sick. If police wants to arrest him, they will have to go past us," spokesperson of Satlok Ashram, Raj Kapoor said.
Volunteers of the Ashram at Barwala near here are guarding the building from all of its sides. A number of women and children are also sitting on the premises of the Ashram.
"We have respect for the court orders. Sant Rampal would appear in the court as soon as he recovers from his ailment," he said.
Hisar SSP Satendar Kumar said talks were on with the members of the ashram to resolve the issue peacefully. He said a team of doctors have checked Rampal and found him sick, but they would comply with the orders of the court.
Rampal has not addressed gatherings for the last three days citing health reasons.
