Semi-naked body of woman's body found in MP

A 40-year-old woman's semi-naked body was today found at a park in the city, police said.
The woman has been identified as Vali Bai, police said, adding that her head was found smashed with stones.
"The victim had left her house in the town last morning stating that she was going to her daughter's place at Nanpur near here. However, this morning, her half-naked body was found with her head smashed with stones at Surendra Park of Municipality," Superintendent of Police Kumar Saurabh told PTI.
Asked about the possibility of rape before the alleged murder, Saurabh said it would be clear in the post-mortem report.

A case has been registered in this connection and investigation into the case is on, the SP said.
