Sena's Naresh Mhaske new chairman of standing committee of TMC

Shiv Sena leader Naresh Mhaske was today elected unopposed as the Chairman of the Standing Committee of Thane Municipal Corporation.
No other corporator had filed nomination for the post.
As per the power-sharing pact between Shiv Sena and BJP, the post should have gone to the latter this time. However Shiv Sena chose to claim the post.
